How to Apply

The process starts by registering your interest with Endeavr. You can use the online form or approach the team at an event. We will develop an understanding of the concept and see how it fits into the support framework we can provide.

Criteria for application

All ideas need to be developed from the early concept stage into something that can be tested in the market. We work with you to shape your idea into a value proposition that meets real customer needs. If you think your idea falls within one of our key research themes, contact Endeavr to register your interest and we can discuss how we can best support you.

Following early discussion, and where appropriate, promising ideas that require funding can be developed into a formal Expression of Interest. This can then be submitted to technical experts for review and consideration by the Endeavr executive committee members.

We are looking for:

  • ideas that benefit the region and the Welsh economy
  • ideas that would fit Airbus technology road maps
  • business scalability and potential for generating employment in Wales
  • peer endorsement or academic backing or involvement

Unlike many other sources of funding, Endeavr will consider applications for 100% of the eligible costs for projects running up to 3 years.

Wave 1

This stage is intended to cover user and market needs analysis. The outcome should be to answer critical questions about the viability and potential for the innovation.

Wave 2

This stage will build upon the early stage discovery work, exploring the solutions, technical issues, and answering key research questions.

Wave 3

This stage is sometimes undertaken if additional research is required before making business investment into more advanced prototyping and industry pilot.
