Heart Rate Variability was analysed to indicate individual stress levels, with the results captured and displayed in real-time.

The adaptive system was tested by Dorset Fire and Rescue Service, at the West Moors Training Centre, during a live fire environment. The stress level of each firefighter was displayed – on a technological alternative to the traditional ‘Entry Control Board’ – to allow the commander to understand critical factors concerning the safety of each crew member.
