Cyber Centre Recognised for International Impact

The Airbus Centre of Excellence in Cyber Security Analytics, based at Cardiff University, has been recognised in this year’s ESTnet Wales Technology Awards.

Each year, the ESTnet Awards celebrate the achievements of the technology sector in Wales; with the International Impact category recognising organisations that have achieved significant and sustainable growth through international trade.

Nick Crew, Chief Operations Officer at Airbus Endeavr Wales said “To be shortlisted alongside the best tech in Wales is a fantastic achievement for the partners and a welcome acknowledgement that collaborative R&T projects can lead to the development of successful and innovative solutions that address industry-led and global challenges.”

The cyber security centre faced strong competition with a record number of entries across all categories. The ‘finalists’ were whittled down by the ESTnet judging panel and the ‘winners’ announced at a gala dinner, attended by more than 400 guests, at Cardiff City Hall on 3 May 2018.

More information about the winners can be found here.
