Space for Smarter Government Programme

The UK Space Agency is providing funding for satellite enabled technology and applications to support remote healthcare services in rural Welsh communities.

This call, funded by the UK Space Agency’s National Space Technology Programme in collaboration with the Space for Smarter Government Programme, invites proposals for demonstrator projects using innovative technology, and satellite applications and data to develop capability to support the work of the Welsh Government and Public Sector.

Up to £200,000 is available to support 1-3 projects. The call closes at 12 noon on Monday 16 September 2019.

Exploration Technology Development

The UK Space Agency invites proposals for space technology research and development projects that will further the UK’s ability to exploit the opportunities offered by the UK’s participation in the European Space Agency’s Exploration programme over the period 2020 – 2022. 

This call, funded by the UK Space Agency’s National Space Technology Programme (NSTP) in collaboration with the UK Space Agency’s Exploration and Robotics Programme, aims to develop the capability of the UK space sector in technology that is relevant to robotic and human exploration of Low Earth Orbit, the lunar vicinity and lunar surface, and Mars, to position the UK community to secure the maximum scientific and technological return from the future exploration projects and programmes.

Up to £100,000 is available to support selected projects. The call closes at 16:00 on Friday 20 September 2019.
